You
can reach an island Korcula by a car ferries from Rijeka, Split, Ploce and Orebic.
Sailing from Split to Vela Luka is 2.45 hours long, from Split to Ploce
takes 1 and a half hour drive highway and 2 ferries (Ploce-Trpanj and
Orebic-Domince Korcula), from Rijeka to Korcula 15 hours and from Orebic to
Korcula 15 minutes.
Our
advice is to arrive to the line for the ferry at least hour earlier in
order to avoid crowd, and if you are coming from long distance by car, take
a ferry from Rijeka to Korcula.
